Products, Licenses & Monthly Pricing
The Products and Licenses table on your Billing & Payment tab is the heart of your subscription โ it shows exactly which Broker Buddha AI products you're subscribed to, how many licenses you have for each, their current trial or billing status, the per-license price, and your total monthly cost. This article explains how to read the table, how licenses relate to users, and how to make changes.

๐ Reading the Table
Each row in the table represents one product on your subscription. Columns are:
๐งพ Product
The product name and its short code underneath. Common codes you'll see include:
- BB Sign+ (
bor-svc) - Market Submissions with Quote compare & Market eval (
market-submissions) - Service Management: Exposures, Endorsement Requests & COIs (
service-management) - Insured Data Capture with ACORD & Excel Output (
new-submission-intake) - SSO / SAML Integration (
saml) - CRM+ (Policy Placements) (
opp-man)
๐ก The short code underneath each product name is the internal identifier used by BB AI and may be helpful when contacting support.
๐ข Licenses
The number of licenses you're paying for on this product. One license = one user who can access that product.
๐ก Status
Shows one of:
- Trial โ with an Ends: [date] label indicating when the trial converts to paid billing.
- Active โ the product is live and being billed.
๐ฒ Price/License
The monthly cost per license for that product.
๐ฐ Monthly Total
The product's total monthly cost (Licenses ร Price/License).
๐งฎ Total Monthly Amount
At the bottom of the table, the Total Monthly Amount row sums every product's monthly total into a single combined monthly charge for your account.

๐ง How Licenses Work
- One license = one user with access to that specific product.
- You purchase licenses per product, not per user โ so a single user can hold licenses across multiple products (e.g., BB Sign+ and Market Submissions).
- License counts on this page reflect what you're paying Broker Buddha for. The actual assignments to users are managed in Settings โ Users via the Manage Users & Products wizard.
- If you assign more users than you have licenses, you'll be prompted to either increase your license count or remove access from another user.
๐ For the full walkthrough, see Managing User Product Access.
๐งช Trial vs. Active Status
- Trial rows have no billing impact yet โ the Ends: [date] label shows when that product's trial converts to paid billing.
- Once a trial ends (and you haven't cancelled), the row switches to Active and the product is charged monthly.
- Different products may have different trial end dates, so it's normal to see a mix of Trial and Active statuses on the same account.
โ ๏ธ While your account is entirely on Trial, the Last Billing Date and Next Billing Date in Current Subscription Overview will show
N/A. They populate once the first charge is processed.

๐ ๏ธ How to Adjust License Counts or Product Access
You can't edit license counts directly from the Products and Licenses table โ it's a read-only summary. To make changes:
- Click Manage Users & Products at the top right of the Billing & Payment page.
- This opens the Manage Users & Products wizard where you can:
- Add or remove users
- Assign or remove specific product access per user
- Increase or decrease license counts for each product
- Save your changes. The Products and Licenses table will update to reflect the new license counts and monthly totals.

๐ก Best Practices
- ๐ Watch your trial end dates โ Track each product's "Ends: [date]" so you're not surprised when billing begins.
- ๐ฅ Right-size your licenses โ Review the Licenses column each month and compare against who's actually using each product. Remove access for users who no longer need it before trial periods end.
- ๐งฎ Validate the Total Monthly Amount โ A quick way to sanity-check that your license counts are correct.
- ๐ท๏ธ Know your product codes โ Codes like
bor-svcoropp-manare the fastest way to identify a product when troubleshooting with support. - ๐ Prefer product-level adjustments โ Adding or removing a license for one user is usually easier than making broad changes across the whole roster.
