Overview: Integrations
Broker Buddha AI is built to plug into the systems your team already uses every day. The Integrations tab in Settings is where you connect, configure, and monitor every third-party connection โ from your Agency Management System (AMS) to other platforms like Loss Run Pro and Broker Buddha (Classic).
This overview explains how integrations are organized, how to navigate the page, where to find detailed setup instructions for each integration, and how to verify what data your AMS can actually sync into BB AI.
๐ Who can manage integrations? Only Account Owners and Billing Managers can connect and manage third-party integrations from the Integrations tab in Settings. Standard Users do not have access to this view.
๐งญ Accessing Integrations
Step 1: Click the Settings โ๏ธ icon in the bottom-left corner.
Step 2: Select Integrations from the settings sidebar.
Step 3: You'll see two sub-tabs:
- Active โ integrations currently connected to your organization
- Available โ integrations that can be configured
๐ผ๏ธ [Image placeholder: screenshot of the Integrations page showing the Active / Available sub-tabs and the "No Active Integrations" empty state, or an example with active integrations listed]
A Refresh button in the top-right re-checks integration statuses on demand.
๐งฉ What Are Integrations?
Integrations allow Broker Buddha AI to connect with your Agency Management System (AMS) and other external platforms so that data flows automatically between them โ eliminating duplicate entry, keeping records in sync, and powering features like form pre-fill, policy management, and loss run requests.
Integrations in BB AI fall into two categories:
- ๐ข Agency Management Systems โ your core AMS platform (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic, Hawksoft, Momentum AMP)
- ๐งพ Other Systems โ companion platforms like Broker Buddha (Classic) and Loss Run Pro
๐ข Agency Management System (AMS) Integrations
BB AI currently supports integrations with the following AMS platforms:
- Vertafore AMS360 (EMS API)
- AMS360 Web Services (SOAP)
- Applied Epic
- Hawksoft
- Momentum AMP (NowCerts)
Each integration card on the Available tab includes:
- Configure โ set up or manage connection settings (credentials, API keys, mapping)
- Import & History โ view synchronization history and prior data imports (where applicable)
- Last synced date โ when the integration most recently pulled data (where applicable)

For setup details, see the dedicated article for your AMS:

๐ Reviewing AMS Capabilities
Before (or after) connecting an AMS, it's important to understand which data points BB AI can actually sync from your specific system. You can review integration capabilities and data availability here:
๐ AMS Integrations
This page shows each data point in one of four categories:
- โ Available and Live โ supported in BB AI today and actively syncing
- ๐ก Available from AMS but not live โ supported by the AMS, but not yet connected in BB AI
- โช Data not stored in system โ BB AI does not currently store this field
- ๐ซ Not available from AMS โ your AMS does not expose this data
This helps you understand what data can sync between your AMS and BB AI before you spend time configuring or troubleshooting.
๐ก Use the capability matrix as your reference whenever a teammate asks "Can BB AI pull X from our AMS?" โ the answer is right there, by AMS and by data point.
๐งพ Other Systems
In addition to AMS platforms, BB AI integrates with external systems that extend your workflows:
๐งฉ Broker Buddha (Classic)
Connect to an existing Broker Buddha (Classic) subscription for seamless form access and management. This is helpful for agencies using both platforms to link accounts and streamline form workflows.
Options on the card:
- Configure โ link your Classic account
- API Test โ verify the connection is working
For details, see Connecting Broker Buddha (Forms Integration & API Test).
๐ Loss Run Pro
Request and manage loss runs directly from BB AI. Loss Run Pro can be:
- Managed through your BB AI subscription
- Or connected using your own API key
Options on the card:
- Configure โ set up the connection or enter your API key
- Loss Run Requests โ view and manage loss run requests in flight
For details, see Setting Up Loss Run Pro.

๐ Syncing & Refreshing
Use the Refresh button in the top-right of the Integrations page to update integration statuses on demand. For each connected integration you may see:
- A Last synced date
- An Import & History log
Use these to monitor connection health and confirm that data is actually flowing between systems.

๐ก Best Practices
- Review the AMS capability matrix before configuring an integration so you know exactly what data will (and won't) sync.
- Confirm AMS credentials and API access with your IT or AMS administrator before clicking Configure.
- Monitor sync history after activation โ the Import & History view is your first stop when something looks off.
- Use the Refresh button if a status looks stale.
- Use API testing tools (e.g., the API Test button on the Broker Buddha card) to verify connectivity before relying on the integration in production.
- Limit who can configure integrations โ Account Owner and Billing Manager are the only roles with access, but it's still good practice to keep that list small.
