Managing Product Settings

⚙️ Configure behavior, automation, and defaults for each product.

The Product Settings tab allows you to manage how key BB AI features function across your organization.

🔐 Only Account Owners and Billing Managers can access Product Settings.

To access:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Product Settings

🏠 Dashboard

Control your team’s default homepage experience.

You can:

  • Set the Default Login Landing Page
  • Add, edit, reorder, disable, or delete Dashboard Items
  • Create custom dashboard components

Common dashboard items include:

  • Tasks
  • Submissions
  • Policies
  • Activities
  • Market Submissions
  • Service Requests
  • Loss Run Requests
  • BB Sign Requests

💡 Changes here impact what users see immediately after logging in.


📊 Policy Placements

Configure placement workflow behavior.

Available Settings

Automatically Generate Renewal Placement

Automatically create renewal placements when policies are bound.

Max Days Between Expiring Policies

Set how many days apart expiring policies can be to bundle into a single opportunity.


Manage Pipelines

Create and manage:

  • Opportunity pipelines
  • Phases
  • Stages

You can:

  • Create new pipelines
  • Add phases
  • Set a default pipeline

Manage Placement Types

Create placement types (e.g., New Business, Renewal) and map them to pipelines.


Manage Placement Sources

Add, edit, or disable placement sources (e.g., Renewal, Referral).

Disabled sources will not appear when creating new placements.


📝 Data Capture

Configure ACORD field visibility for insured submissions.

ACORD Field Visibility Configuration

You can:

  • Select an ACORD form
  • Create a new configuration
  • Rename, reorder, or remove fields
  • Manage multiple visibility versions

💡 This allows you to simplify forms and tailor what insureds see during submission.


📧 Market Submissions

Control how submission emails are sent to underwriters.

Default Email Type

Attachments

Includes attachments directly in the email and provides a link to respond.

Secure

Sends underwriters a secure link to access and respond to the submission.

This setting applies to all submissions unless overridden at the individual submission level.


📄 Loss Run Requests

Manage your Loss Run Pro integration.

If active under your subscription, you will see:

  • Integration status
  • Subscription notice
  • Integration features

Loss Run Pro allows you to:

  • Create AOR loss run requests
  • Track request status
  • Receive notifications
  • Download documents
  • Import loss runs into market submissions

If subscription-managed, changes may require support assistance.


🔔 Service & Exposure Management

Configure routing and notification rules for service requests.

Notification Settings

Choose which users receive notifications when new service requests are created.


Auto-Assignment Settings

Automatically assign:

  • Certificate Requests
  • Endorsement Requests

To specific users.

This ensures requests are routed correctly without manual assignment.


✍️ BB Sign

View the status of your BB Sign configuration.

If active under your subscription, additional product settings will appear here.


🔐 SAML (Single Sign-On)

Configure SAML-based Single Sign-On for your organization.

If subscribed, you can:

  • View Service Provider details
  • Upload Identity Provider metadata XML
  • Paste metadata manually
  • Save your configuration

If not subscribed, you will see a subscription notice with the option to manage subscriptions.
